Clark Township, New Jersey (population 16,541) is at 98% capacity of occupied land. Named after a signer of the Declaration of Independence, Abraham Clark, it began as a farm community and remained so for almost 200 years. Post World War II housing shortages created an opportunity for housing developers. From 1949 to 1989, Clark was transformed into the township we know today.
