The present firm of Garrubbo & Capece, P.C. is the successor to Wolin & Garrubbo which was founded in 1971. Throughout its early growth period, the firm's practice primarily consisted of litigation through insurance carriers and self-insured individuals. Our litigation practice has expanded into the areas of: general personal injury; medical malpractice; product liability; workers' compensation; commercial litigation; municipal law; and, private and public sector labor law. In addition, we have expanded to provide services to our clients in the areas of: Family & Matrimonial Law; Wills, Trusts & Estates; Commercial Law; Discrimination; Real Estate; and, Criminal Defense.

Today, Garrubbo & Capece, P.C. is comprised of eight attorneys and two para-legals as well as support staff. We have the honor of several members having ascended to the bench throughout the Firm's existence. In addition, several of our attorneys are presently Officers or Trustees of the Union County Bar Association or sit on the Union County Ethics Committee. When it comes to litigation, we have one of the most effective, on a case-by-case basis, litigation departments in New Jersey. Working together we bring the right resources to bear on a client's matter, assembling litigation teams to optimize the efficiency of our representation. Our attorneys are in courthouses virtually every week of the year, litigating the wide range of legal issues our clients encounter before juries, judges and arbitrators. Our appellate lawyers have appeared before the appellate courts of both New York and New Jersey as well as those of the Federal Circuit.

We are firmly committed to using technology to enhance efficiency and the quality of our representation. The Firm has developed an extensive private intranet, placing practice support resources and tools on the desktop of every legal professional. Legal briefs, research memoranda, and other work products are available through a fully searchable and indexed central document management facility, readily accessible on every lawyer's desktop computer. We have also developed an internal computer network that allows the sharing of key documents and case information in a secured environment over the Internet. These sites are instrumental in expediting information retrieval and lowering reimbursement costs for our clients. We have the capability to communicate with clients through the Internet in order to speed communications and reduce costs to our clients.
